Transition 2022

We have had a fantastic start to Year 6! It has been lovely getting to know each other, I am certain that this will be a brilliant year for us all!

Where do we begin? To start with, as a class we discussed and created 5 class values that we believe are important to us. We talked about the need to always be kind to others and offer support to those in need of it. We also said that Year 6 pupils are resilient and always persevere if things become tough! Take a look at them here!

Along with our Maths and English lessons, we have been studying Pop Art in the afternoons. We have really loved producing three self-portraits and using different colours for effect! Take a look at these!

We cannot wait to see what next week brings!

Transition Week 2

We have had another fantastic week in Year 6! Although we will miss Byker over the holidays, we cannot wait to get back in September and start our official Year 6 journey!

In our final week, we have been creating a Precept - inspired by our class book Wonder.

A Precept is a motto or phrase that we want to live by!

Take a look at some of these! laugh

We have also created Representational Handprints - this is where we draw around our hand and then describe our personality!
