Wednesday 22nd June
It was Refugee Day in school today and we read a story called 'Wisp' by Zana Fraillon and Grahame Baker-Smith. It was a story of a hope about a boy called Idris who lived in a Refugee Camp. We wrote down our own hopes and wishes on butterflies and painted some images of the night sky.
Friday 16th June
Today, we taste tested lots of fruit so we could vote on which ones we would like to use for our fruit kebabs.
Our next class text is 'Amelia Earhart' by Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara and looks at the life of the famous female pilot Amelia Earhart.
