  • Bagels on Monday!

Wed 26 Jan 2022 Rob Watson

    Dear Parents,

I am pleased to inform you that we will be providing all children with a free breakfast, in class, each day, for the rest of this school year.

We plan on starting our Bagel Breakfasts on Monday 31st January!

The National School Breakfast Programme have partnered with us to provide bagels for all classes in school. This will be at no cost to yourselves, as the bagels are funded by the NBSP for this year.

If you would rather that your child didn’t receive a bagel for some reason, please contact your child’s teacher before Monday.

Pupils will receive their bagel in the classroom at the start of the day.

National School portion standards advise that KS2 pupils will receive half of a bagel with lo-fat spread. EYFS and KS1 children will receive Quarter of a bagel with lo-fat spread.

The benefits of a healthy breakfast in the morning are proven to improve performance and concentration.

    Yours Sincerely,

    John Newton

  • Re-opening of school Thursday 6th January 2022

    Wed 05 Jan 2022

    Dear parents and guardians,

Thankfully, our boiler is now operating normally. Heat is returning to the classrooms and school's indoor temperature is rising to back to normal.

This will allow us to open fully tomorrow morning (Thursday 6th January 2022) to all pupils.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding and we look forward to seeing you all back tomorrow.

    Kind regards,

    John Newton
