Well done to the fantastic children chosen to complete in the balance bike competition today. We are so proud of you!
Friday 11th March
Yesterday in guided reading we made mustard sandwiches. They were very disgusting but we all had fun making them. In our story, 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch' Mrs Grinling makes mustard sandwiches for Mr Grinling to try to stop the pesky seagulls from stealing his lunch.
World Book Day 3rd March 2022
We had a fantastic World Book Day and used the text 'Mother Earth is Weeping' by Claire Donald. We did lots of fun activities associated with the book throughout the day including: making posters, drawing images from the texts, planting seeds, drama games and we even did our very own climate protest in the yard. It was a super day!
