During the Autumn term of Year 6, parents are required to choose a secondary school for children.  If you need any support with this process or have any questions, please speak with a member of the Year 6 team.

Whole school Transition 13^th - 17^th July 2026

At Byker Primary we focus on creating the best possible educational start for our pupils as they move into new year groups each academic year.  Relationships and opportunities to build these are key for our pupils, parents and staff.  Each year we allow the whole school to move up for the last week of the academic term to be within their new setting and with new staff ahead of summer holidays. This allows school and families the opportunity to prepare pupils for September.
