Byker Primary School Mini Cadets were nominated alongside a further 6 volunteer groups as part of the Pride of policing Awards 2023.

Due to the continued community support and volunteering commitments demonstrated by Byker Primary School mini cadets, they won the Young Volunteers of the Year award 2023.

A huge congratulations to the mini cadets of 2022-2023, and thank you to all the staff and community police officers that have been involved in making this happen.
