It is important to Leaders at Byker, that we further education our children in healthy food, food importation and exportation, how to cook and develop tastes for new fruits and vegetables.

This half term children have been cooking, making and develop skills in the following areas:

Nursery – Porridge

Reception – Soups

Year 1 – Smoothies

Year 2 Health wraps

Year 3- Seasonal Tarts

Year 4 – Biscuit development

Year 5 – Bolognaise

Year 6 – How to develop a healthy 3 course meal
