Outdoor Play Development
Published 10/10/25We are developing a real focus on the creation of new Outdoor play spaces for our children across school. This has included developing gymnastics sections, scooter zones, and construction areas.
We are seeking any donations to support the growth of this via drainpipes, large plastic tubing, plastic football nets, wooden planks, plastic crates, role play dressing up ages 6 years upwards, space hoppers, large spinning tops and mud kitchen equipment.
All donations welcomed and can be handed in to the main school office

Spy Dog/Spy Cat book compromised web link
Published 10/10/25We have been made aware that several titles in the Spy Dogs, Spy Pup and Spy Cat series by Andew Pope contain a weblink at the back of the book that no longer directs people to information about the book. Instead, the link had been compromised and now leads to inappropriate and unsafe material, containing pornographic content with no age restrictions.

Published 29/09/25The Children in Year 2 have been developing their knowledge of their local area by completing a local study of the Ouseburn in Geography. They stopped at the Farm, Seven Stories and walked alongside the river.

Wild Roots Community Garden workshops.
Published 29/09/25Children took part in creating their own sound scapes with objects found in the environment, they listened to sounds within the pond compost heap, and inside trees, took part in pond dipping and drew sound waves.
