Hello everyone in Year 4 - children, parents and carers.
All of the year four team wanted to say a huge THANK YOU for staying with us during these last seven weeks. We know it must have been difficult at times to get the work we set done, but you have stuck with it and we can't thank you enough for that.
To all of the children in 4JB and 4G, we are so proud of you! We are missing you. Whatever you have managed to do, we will look forward to seeing it when we next see you. Fingers crossed, it won't be much longer!
To all of the parents and carers, we cannot thank you enough for the support you have given your children. At times, we are sure it has been difficult, so thank you for pitching in and making this whole experience much smoother for everyone. Without your help, we would have found this whole new way of teaching so much more difficult. We can see that the Byker Primary Website has had so many views, which has been amazing. There won't be any maths and English work next week, but if you would like to continue working with your child, we would recommend reading and going over work from previous weeks. However, we also realise that you need a break from this too, so please don't feel any pressure at all.
Next week is half term. Let's hope we get some lovely, hot weather and can enjoy ourselves. You all thoroughly deserve a break! We will put some fun activities up if you would like something to do.
Enjoy the half term as much as you can!
Ms Jarvis, Mr Goldsborough, Mrs Barnes, Mrs Armstrong, Mrs Edwards and Miss Harris
