Good Morning Reception!

It is Miss Bell & Mrs Smith here. We have been chatting about all of the exciting things we have planned for this half term and thought it would be best we upload the topic work for both classes to complete.

This half term, we would be starting a new book which is 'Caterpillars and Butterflies'. It is non-fiction book which means it is full of facts about both Caterpillars and Butterflies. Something we touched upon in Nursery, who can remember the name of the process when a Caterpillar turns into a Butterfly? I will give you a clue, it begins with the sound 'm'. I bet your adult is SUPER impressed with your Butterfly knowledge.

The end of this weeks topic work is based around Caterpillars, Butterflies and Life-cycles, again something we have already touched upon in school so you should all be experts!

We will both be continuing to upload Maths & Phonics daily to ensure the needs of both classes are being met, but we hope you enjoy completing the topic work as much as we have planning it.

Take care Reception & stay safe.

Happy Wednesday my darlings!

Hope you are all happy, well, healthy and safe.

As you can see, myself and Mrs Smith have decided to upload topic work for both classes however I will be continuing to upload a daily message alongside Phonics and Maths work for my class. Again, only complete the work you wish too. There really is no pressure to do any of it, the most important thing is that you're spending time with your loved ones at these times and keeping yourselves safe.

Todays activities are very fun and I had lot's of fun creating them.

Missing you all lot's. As always, keep smiling!

Good morning everyone!

Wishing you all a lovely, sunny day full of fun.  Below are maths and phonics activities if you choose to do these.  I hope you enjoy your topic work today.  It's getting warmer as we move closer to the sun, so keep a look out to see how many butterflies are about.

Stay safe and look after yourselves.   It's not the easiest of times, but we can do this!

Mrs Smith.
