Bonjour Year 3,

Ca va?

It's fantastic Friday once more, the weeks are rolling by!

Take a moment to think about how you have managed this week's learning? Was it easy, alright or challenging?

Also, think about the best part of your week?

And... What has helped you this week?

You could write these things down in your workbooks so that we can share them back at school yes

You may have heard on the news that there are some plans for children to go back to school. As soon as we know anything more we will let you know but until then we shall continue doing what we are experts at now... online learning!

A huge well done to all of you who are reading this and are still checking in everyday and attempting what we have prepared. Keep going, you are amazing! We love to see you, your work or what you have been busy with on the Byker Books Facebook page. We would love to see more of you so remember to ask an adult if they could share something from your week.

**Mrs Smith has added a Science Star to the class pages. Please take a look and hopefully have a go at one of the experiments!**

Take care, stay safe and keep smiling!

Keep washing your hands too!

Next week, we are going to recap and practise our times tables (multiplication x) to help us answer questions speedily.

Let's begin practising with these fun games:

https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/mental-maths-train

Try each of the tables we know x2, x5, x10, x3, x4, x6, x8 and then to add extra challenge try the mixed option x2,3,4,5,8 and 10.

Why not try

http://www.learnyourtables.co.uk/en/index2.htm

There is a drag, answer or test (timed) option and the tables are written out for you to say before you start.

And just because I know some of you love to try to beat your previous time score try this loop card game with each of the tables we have learnt, listed above.

Good luck Year 3! Have fun!
