Hello and Good Morning 6T,
Halfway through the week now guys!
For today's work (attached in the order of how our day would run) I have a problem of the day for Mental Maths to start. I have also attached yesterday's answers. For the main lesson, we are looking at Squared and Cubed numbers. The slides attached work through a range of fluency, reasoning and problem solving and the answers are included too. Work at your own pace and do as many as you can.
Our Word of the Day is:
Can you find the definition and synonyms that we can add to our Vocabulary board when we're back in the classroom?
Our English lesson is all about comparing and contrasting characters. It's focusing on Stanley's friendships and how they are similar and different between the boys at camp.
History this week is looking at Victorian crime and punishment- have think back to what we have already learnt and try recall if they have any similar punishments to the Romans or the Tudors. Are they as gruesome or harsh?
That is all for today, have a great Wednesday and take care!
