Good Morning Reception

Welcome to a new week of home schooling! I hope you have all had a lovely weekend, even though the weather hasn't been great.

I have had a very productive weekend baking. During these uncertain times, I have not been able to see my Mam & Dad so I thought I would bake them some of their favourite treats and deliver them for them. They were super happy!!! I baked them a Banana loaf and some Almond cupcakes. I have attached the photos for you to see, I was very proud of myself! heart

I know I promised I would be reading a story this weekend, but unfortunately I have had quite a bad allergic reaction to something on Friday which means my skin has blistered and is extremely painful. As soon as I am better, the story will be read and uploaded!! Hopefully it wont be too long!

This week I will be uploading some topic work for you as well as your daily Maths and English. I hope you enjoyed last weeks work. This week for Maths we will be looking at estimation and for English we are going to be revisiting some phonic sounds.

As always my little treasures, keep smiling!!!

Miss Bell laugh

I have uploaded your topic work for today below.

Today is a craft activity creating some beautiful origami Butterflies. Please keep them so both myself and Mrs Smith can see your creations.

Please have fun and enjoy making them smiley

Good morning everyone,

Hoping you have all had a lovely and relaxing weekend, doing things you enjoy.

First, I thought we could start the week with our 'Days of the Week' song (click on web link below).  We miss singing this with you, so it'll be nice to sing this together today.

It was very cold yesterday, I had cleaned out my fire place for what I thought was the last time a few weeks ago, only to have had to build another fire today because we were all freezing!  Miss Davidson sent me a lovely picture of her outdoor fire pit on Saturday night, which looked very cosy and I hope you all managed to stay warm and safe inside and out today ... roll on Wednesday when the sun should be making another appearance.

This week Miss Bell will be organising our topic work, so scroll either up or down to her note, where you will find activities to enjoy.  I have also attached maths and phonics activities below for you to also enjoy. Do what you can to keep your minds busy and ticking over.

Wishing you all a happy and positive start to the week.

Mrs Smith, Miss Holden and Miss Davidson.
