Good morning Reception.
We hope you are all well and looking forward to the week ahead. First I'd like to say a big thank you to Miss Bell for keeping you all busy with maths, phonics and topic over the last few weeks.
We hope you've enjoyed our recent caterpillar updates? Over the last week there have been quite a few changes, and instead of 10 caterpillars we now have 10 cocoons! Before they changed, the caterpillars measured between 4 cm - 4.5 cm long. They were very difficult to measure as they were very active in the final few days of being caterpillars and wiggled constantly!
If you follow the links below, I have uploaded a couple of time-lapse video's for you to watch of our caterpillars as they climbed to the top of their current habitat and changed. Amy and I have really enjoyed watching these and I hope you all do too.
It is also the begin of another week and month, so I have attached links to our Months of the Year and Days of the Week songs. Does anyone know what day and month it is today?
Below you will also find maths and phonics activities for the day, which I hope you all enjoy.
We're another day closer to seeing each other again, and I'm really glad to be back.
Wishing you all a great day!
Mrs Smith, Miss Holden and Miss Davidson
Good Morning boys and girls and welcome back.
I have missed you all so much. Even these daily messages help me feel connected to you all so I have really missed doing this too.
We have had the most beautiful weather for our week off. I hope you have all had a lovely break, you all feel relaxed, motivated and ready for the next half term. What have you been up to?
Today is Monday and with it being our first week back, I thought we could recap on our reading skills and counting skills. I have uploaded both your Maths work and Phonics work below. As well as Maths and Phonics, I have also uploaded some fact cards all about Caterpillars and Butterflies.
Please continue to stay safe boys and girls.
As always my little treasures, keep shining and keep smiling!!
