Byker Primary School

01/05/20

It's Friday, the last day of the week before the weekend.

We hope you are all safe and well and have been enjoying some, if not all, of our activities so far this week.

Did you enjoy playing chalk games yesterday?

Which part of your chalk course did you enjoy the best?

Please feel free to send us any of your ideas, pictures and videos showing us how you have all been busy spending your time to our Byker Books facebook page. We would love to see them and find out which activities you've enjoyed most.

Cecilia lives within walking distance from the beach and has been enjoying the sea air on her daily walks. She has been watching out for the boats on the water. Today we have a telescope/binocular making activity and we thought we would pretend we live at the seaside and use our telescopes to look out to sea with an underwater exploring activity too.

Next week we are featuring all of our playgroup staff as they are excited to try out and demonstrate some new activities, one of which involves pancake making so if you would like to get involved and make your own you will need:-

100g plain flour

2 large eggs

300mls milk

or buy ready made pancakes and join in with adding fillings.

We hope you enjoy today's activities. Keep your telescopes and binoculars handy for next week to look out for our Playgroup staff.

Have a relaxing weekend with your families and loved ones and as always, stay safe and wash your hands often.

Love from all of the playgroup staff
